I started Digital Dads after twenty years in corporate software engineering. Over two decades, I never once quit a job. Instead, I survived five corporate layoffs, including three right after my wife and I found out we were expecting a child. Those moments taught me the heavy toll of chronic stress and why owning your livelihood matters.

I know how exhausting life becomes when you feel like a number on someone else's spreadsheet. Large tech agencies treat small business owners the exact same way. They pass you off to junior account managers, hide behind confusing jargon, and charge excessive monthly retainers for simple updates.
